Physio Signal Atlas is a single-page, interactive simulator for common electrophysiology and physiological signals, EEG (delta/theta/alpha/beta/gamma), ECG/EKG, EMG, EOG, GSR/EDA, and respiration, plus selectable noise and artifact sources (e.g., 60 Hz hum, movement, white/pink-ish noise). Its core goal is educational: to make it easy to see how different modalities “look” over time, how they relate to physiological states, and how real-world contamination can distort interpretation.
Users start by choosing a physiological condition preset (e.g., resting eyes-closed, REM sleep, deep sleep, high arousal, tense muscles), which automatically enables the most relevant modalities and sets sensible defaults. They can then toggle signals on/off via checkboxes, adjust global rendering controls (gain, time scale, line width, grid, colors), and fine-tune per-signal parameters such as amplitude, heart rate, respiration rate, arousal, muscle tension, and saccade intensity. For experimentation and extension, users can also add custom signals on the fly. The value is fast intuition: a clean visual sandbox for exploring modality–state relationships and testing “what changes what” before moving to real data.
